Technical Skills:

• Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS) on Azure
• Develop firmwide database deployment pipeline via Gitlab
• Monitor database performance and optimize database processes to ensure maximum efficiency
• Create and maintain database schemas, tables, and indexes
• Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks
• Develop, implement, and maintain database security policies and procedures
• Create and maintain database backups and disaster recovery plans
• Design and implement data models and database structures to meet business requirements
• Troubleshoot database issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by regularly testing, validating, and auditing data
• Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other IT staff to ensure that database systems are integrated and running smoothly
• Maintain database access and usage
• Maintain documentation on database structure, security policies, and processes
• Stay up-to-date with new database technologies and best practices
• Good to have design and implementation knowledge on data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions
